AirwayData

RESPIRATORY HEALTH · IN DEVELOPMENT

Better access to
lung testing.
Closer to home.

We’re building low-cost respiratory monitoring tools to help patients and clinicians follow lung function over time, starting with communities where testing is harder to reach.

01 / THE PROBLEM

A lung test can be simple.
Getting one isn’t always.

For people in rural and underserved communities, a lung-function test can mean a long trip, time away from work, and another appointment to arrange. Repeating that test can bring the same barriers all over again.

We want to make testing and retesting more practical, so patients and their care teams can build a clearer picture between visits.

02 / OUR APPROACH

A small device.
A more connected view.

Our first product is a smartphone-powered USB-C spirometer in development. The planned experience brings testing, a history of results, and clinician review together.

01

Test at home

A compact spirometer that connects to a compatible smartphone, with planned software guidance to support the testing process.

02

Follow changes over time

A history of lung-function measurements intended to help patients and care teams look beyond a single test.

03

Keep clinicians involved

Results organized for clinician review, with clinical interpretation and care decisions remaining with qualified professionals.

Planned capabilities. Device performance, phone compatibility, usability, and clinical workflows still require evaluation.

03 / WHY RURAL CARE

Your ZIP code shouldn’t decide how easy it is to get tested.

We’re starting with rural and underserved communities because the practical details matter: device cost, travel, phone access, and the time a care team has to review results.

Our goal is to develop an affordable tool that fits into local care, with input from the people who would use it.

04 / DEVELOPMENT & VALIDATION

Build carefully.
Evaluate before making claims.

AirwayData is early in development. Our planned next steps focus on measurement quality, real-world usability, and an appropriate clinical and regulatory path.

01

Technical evaluation

Assess measurement accuracy and repeatability against reference equipment and relevant spirometry standards.

Planned
02

Usability & feasibility

Study whether people can complete testing with appropriate guidance and whether results fit clinicians’ workflows.

Planned
03

Clinical validation

Develop a clinical evaluation plan with qualified partners and determine applicable regulatory requirements before clinical use.

Development-stage product. AirwayData is not available for clinical use. We do not claim regulatory clearance or validated diagnostic performance. This website provides company information, not medical advice.

05 / THE LONGER VIEW

Starting with breathing.
Building for better follow-up.

Spirometry is our starting point. Over time, we hope to build a broader platform for accessible testing, longitudinal monitoring, and explainable decision support. Each new capability will need its own evidence and evaluation.

LET’S TALK

Help shape what
comes next.

We’d like to hear from clinicians, rural health organizations, researchers, and potential pilot partners interested in more accessible respiratory testing.
